Kazakhstan’s agriculture sector continues to demonstrate steady growth. According to DairyNews.today, citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from January to October 2025, the gross output of the sector reached 8.1 trillion tenge, which is 5.4% higher than the same period last year.
The main contribution to this growth came from crop production, which increased by 6.7%, as well as livestock farming, which showed a 3.4% rise.
The livestock sector is showing positive dynamics in key areas. Meat production (in slaughter weight) grew by 2.6%, reaching 816.3 thousand tons, while cow’s milk production increased by 5.7% to 3 million tons. The number of livestock also rose: cattle by 1.1% to 8.5 million heads, horses by 6.4% to 4.5 million heads, camels by 4.5% to 299.7 thousand heads, and poultry by 6.5% to 49 million heads.
Positive trends are also noted in the food industry. Over the first ten months of 2025, food production increased by 9.1%, reaching 3.2 trillion tenge, while beverage production rose by 8.7% to 1 trillion tenge.
