1. General ProvisionsThis Privacy Policy on the processing of personal data has been developed in accordance with the Law “On Personal Data” of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Law on Personal Data) and defines the procedure for processing personal data and the measures taken to ensure the security of personal data by LLP “BUSINESS MEDIA CENTRAL ASIA” (BUSINESS MEDIA CENTRAL ASIA) (hereinafter referred to as the Operator).

1.1.The Operator’s primary objective and condition for carrying out its activities is to ensure the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms in the processing of personal data, including the protection of privacy, personal, and family secrets.

1.2.This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) applies to all information that the Operator may obtain about visitors to the website https://profood-expo.kz/.

2. Key Terms Used in This Policy2.1. Automated processing of personal data – processing carried out using computer technology.

2.2. Blocking of personal data – temporary suspension of processing (except where processing is required to clarify data).

2.3. Website – a collection of graphical and informational materials, as well as software and databases, available on the Internet at https://profood-expo.kz/.

2.4. Personal data information system – a set of databases containing personal data and the technologies and tools that ensure their processing.

2.9. Personal data permitted for distribution – data made publicly available by the subject of personal data through consent as prescribed by law.

2.11. Provision of personal data – actions aimed at disclosing data to a specific person or group of persons.

2.12. Distribution of personal data – actions aimed at making personal data publicly available.

2.13. Cross-border transfer of personal data – transfer of data outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2.14. Destruction of personal data – actions resulting in the complete and irreversible deletion of personal data.

3. Rights and Obligations of the Operator

3.1. The Operator has the right to:receive accurate information and/or documents containing personal data from the data subject;
continue processing personal data without the subject’s consent in cases provided for by the Law on Personal Data;
independently determine the necessary and sufficient measures to ensure compliance with legal obligations in personal data protection.

3.2. The Operator is obliged to:provide the data subject, upon request, with information regarding the processing of their personal data;
organize data processing in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
respond to requests from data subjects and their legal representatives in compliance with the Law on Personal Data;
provide the authorized body for data protection with necessary information within 30 days of receiving a request;
publish or otherwise ensure open access to this Policy;
take legal, organizational, and technical measures to protect personal data from unlawful or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, provision, or dissemination;
terminate the processing or dissemination of personal data in cases stipulated by the Law on Personal Data;
fulfill other obligations provided by law.

4. Rights and Obligations of Personal Data Subjects 4.1. Data subjects have the right to:obtain information regarding the processing of their personal data;
request correction, blocking, or destruction of incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate data;
set conditions for prior consent for marketing-related data processing;
withdraw consent to data processing;
appeal to the authorized body or court against unlawful actions of the Operator;
exercise other rights provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4.2. Data subjects must:provide accurate personal data;
notify the Operator of any updates or changes to their data.

5.Persons providing false or third-party data without consent bear responsibility under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 5. Categories of Personal Data ProcessedThe Operator may process the following data:
Full name;
Email address;
Phone number(s);
Company name;
Anonymous statistical data (including cookies) via analytics services (Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics, etc.).
No special categories of personal data (race, religion, political beliefs, etc.) are processed.

6. Principles of Personal Data ProcessingProcessing is carried out:
lawfully and fairly;
for specific and legitimate purposes;
only to the extent necessary;
with accuracy and relevance ensured;
for no longer than required to achieve processing purposes.

7. Purposes of ProcessingPersonal data are processed for:
sending information and updates by email;
concluding, executing, or terminating civil contracts;
notifying Users about new products, services, and events (Users may unsubscribe by emailing info@bmca.kz with the subject “Unsubscribe”).
Anonymous data are used to analyze website usage and improve content quality.

8. Legal Basis for ProcessingLegal grounds include:
the Operator’s founding documents;
contracts between the Operator and the User;
applicable legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
User consent.

9. Conditions for ProcessingProcessing is carried out with the User’s consent or when required by law, contracts, or in the pursuit of legitimate interests that do not infringe on the rights and freedoms of individuals.

12. Cross-Border Transfer of Personal DataThe Operator ensures that any foreign jurisdiction receiving data provides adequate data protection. Transfers to countries lacking such protection may only occur with written consent or when necessary for contract execution.

15. Amendments to the Privacy PolicyThe Operator may modify this Privacy Policy. In the event of significant changes, BUSINESS MEDIA CENTRAL ASIA will notify Users accordingly.
